Marsh’s leadership role, however, is limited to this specific series as Cricket Australia continues to search for a permanent replacement for former captain Finch, who played his final T20 International in October.

Upcoming Series and Squads Australia is set to face South Africa in a series comprising three T20Is and five ODIs, scheduled from August 31 to September 17. Alongside Marsh, the T20 squad includes players like Sean Abbott, Jason Behrendorff, and Glenn Maxwell. The ODI squad, led by Pat Cummins, features a strong lineup including Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, and David Warner.
